Cellular Glass (Foam Glass)
IPS Cellular Glass is a rigid, inorganic insulation material produced from 100% glass. Its closed-cell structure provides total resistance to water, vapor, and most chemicals. Non-combustible and dimensionally stable, cellular glass performs reliably across both cryogenic and high-temperature applications.

Design Guidance
- All joints must be sealed with compatible vapor-barrier mastics
- For stainless steel systems, verify chloride ion content per ASTM C871
- Support loads must be distributed using appropriate bearing structures
- Always use correct adhesives and jacketing materials for the operating temperature range
Installation Notes
- Can be cut on site using standard hand tools
- Handle carefully to avoid edge damage — material is rigid but brittle
